Inferences3 questions~4 minOpen → - ChallengeHistory
Challenge — a historical record that never states its conclusions
This passage is built from an old record book that never explains itself, so every answer here is an inference. Before you choose, find the words in the passage that make your answer true — and treat items 1 and 2 as a pair, the way the TABE presents them.

How to use practice well
- Attempt the question before checking. A wrong answer you thought about teaches more than a right answer you guessed.
- Read the review for every choice, not just the one you picked.
- Work at Foundation and Developing until the reasoning feels automatic, then move to TABE Ready.
- Come back to a set a few days later. Recognizing an answer is not the same as being able to find it.
